In this flower-filled village, you'll love wandering through the narrow streets lined with pretty white houses, and the alleys decorated with red, pink and white hollyhocks that brighten up the facades from May to September. In summer, the Bois-Plage market attracts crowds every morning. It's the biggest market on the Ile de Ré! An opportunity for campers to feast on tasty local produce.
A camping vacation in Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré also means discovering a little-known yet unique heritage: the Moulin de Bellère, the only mill to have kept its wings, the Morinand clock, the Tour Malakoff and the church of Notre-Dame de Tous-les-Saints with its stained glass windows decorated with marine motifs.
