Your campsite with a sports and fitness room
If you are addicted to sport or if you want to take advantage of your holidays to start getting fit, head for the fitness room!
The fitness room on the campsite is available to you throughout your stay. You will find a complete set of the latest fitness equipment: weight and cardio-training machines, bicycles, treadmills…
Ideal to keep your regime going and do sport at your own pace, even far from home, or simply enjoy your holidays to stay in shape.
And after the effort, comfort in our wellness area with sauna and steam room and our heated pool!
Campsite with children and teenagers club
Le Cormoran is also a children’s campsite! During their holidays, little campers will be happy to meet at the children’s clubs.
Our 5-star family campsite welcomes many families with children. That’s why we created the Mini Club. During the high season, they will be welcome from the age of 5 years by our group leaders who are full of energy and never short of ideas!
Depending on their age, the children will be able to take advantage of many fun and sporting activities: group games, mini tournaments, treasure hunts, craft activities, creative workshops, beach outings, swimming pool games…
The day’s activities: sport, relaxation and good humour!
In July and August, let our team liven up your holiday to suit your taste!
Among the campsite’s key activities are sports tournaments on the multi-sports field*, petanque and table tennis competitions, tennis matches, not forgetting aquagym classes in the water park!
Depending on the season’s programme, you can also enjoy a variety of fun activities such as table football tournaments, stretching sessions on the beach (500 metres away) or nature walks on the islan…
Accessories such as tennis rackets, table-tennis bats and balls are available on request at reception.
Campsite parties to celebrate the holidays!
Also enjoy the evening events offered throughout the summer. On the programme of festivities: bingo, quizzes, themed evenings and mini cabaret, shows and musical entertainment… Moments during which all campers, young and old, meet in a festive and family atmosphere!
Fishing
Shore fishing is one of the most popular activities on the island. And just a stone’s throw from the campsite, the Fier d’Ars is a very popular place for clam fishing!
Going fishing on the beaches is an opportunity to share pleasant moments with your family or to take a breath of fresh air with friends.
You can find clams, oysters, shrimps, scallops, razor clams and other periwinkles …
Shore fishing is a leisure activity with rules to observe in order to preserve the environment. Don’t hesitate to ask us your questions before you go shell hunting!
Bike hire
With more than 110 km of cycle tracks, the Ile de Ré is a great destination for a cycling holiday!
You can’t bring your bicycle with you? Don’t worry, you won’t have to give up the beautiful bike rides you’ve been dreaming of since you booked your holiday!
Le Cormoran campsite hires out adult bicycles so you can visit the island in total freedom. This is the best way to get off the beaten track. It is also the most convenient way to get around the campsite and enjoy the nearby cycle tracks.
Bike hire is becoming more and more popular for families. You don’t have to invest in a brand new bike just for the holidays or fit a bike rack on the back of your car, which can quickly turn into a real headache!
Don’t hesitate to ask for a detailed map of the cycle tracks in the region at reception when you arrive at the campsite!
